Jean Clement has 25 years of experience in communications. Prior to founding Limelight in 1995, she owned and operated Clement Communication Services, a public relations firm in suburban Boston.

A native of Massachusetts, Clement served in various communications management and staff positions with Motorola/Codex, Thermo Electron, Computervision, General Cinema Theatres, and Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. Her work included public, media and community relations, product publicity, sales promotion, employee and customer communications, and trade shows. She also has technical training and prior to entering the communications field worked as a mechanical drafter in the former Power Transformer Division of General Electric Co.

Clement holds a bachelor's degree in mass communication and public relations from Boston University. She is an award-winning writer and editor.
